United in Purpose

In 2020, a group of incredible Black women embarked on a journey to pursue modern and purposeful investment strategies with a few goals in mind; concentrate intelligence, accumulate assets, and build into communities.

"KALEIDOSCOPE is a space where Black women can show up, as we naturally are without feeling pressure to put on airs or contorting themselves. By working in unison, under a shared agenda, we see a vision all the way through - while mirroring what's moving around us beautifully." - Lauren Elyse Tudor, Founder/President

In 2020, a group of incredible Black women embarked on a journey to pursue modern and purposeful investment strategies with a few goals in mind; concentrate intelligence, accumulate assets, and build into communities.

As we embark into our third year, we're excited to grow and discover new possibilities that await. We hope to form relationships with investment groups around the country, while continuing to grow our membership and sow the seeds of financial and social capital.

There's so much more to come!

Earlier this Spring Kaleidoscope Investment Group (KIG) was approached by a local restaurateur group and management team with an opportunity too delicious to pass up.

The business, a cantina-style eatery located in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati, will offer high-end service and a variety of tropical cuisine featuring a diverse selection of flavors inspired from regions throughout the tropics, including Latin America, Africa and Asia. It will also offer outdoor seating and a full bar featuring cocktails and other beverages.

The launch for the eatery is slated to open later this Fall. Be sure to check back when the group stops by to sample the menu!

Kaleidoscope Investment Group (KIG) is ecstatic to bring on its ninth member, Janeine Williams!

Janeine Williams Borden is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is an educator who enjoys accomplishing goals and bringing dreams to reality while encouraging others to do the same.

As the owner of Little Arrows Childcare Center, a family-based and community-centered educational facility, she creates environments which foster love and support for children. Janeine is also a founding partner of Heritage Hill, a worker-owned cooperative that is rooted in uplifting the community by capturing Black excellence through creative expression using apparel. She also owns Arrows and Bows Learning Enterprise (“ABLE”), a consulting and real estate firm that offers services to include safe and affordable housing options for disenfranchised families who desire to improve their quality of living by learning to enjoy a fruitful and abundant life.

More importantly, Janeine is a proud mother of two handsome young men, Joel and Jonas. They are her inspiration to continue to reaching into the community and empowering others. As the lyrics to Whitney Houston's classic, "The Greatest Love of All" states, Janeine also believes "the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way."

Welcome to KIG, Janeine!
